The Cornell University, Sloan Program in Health Administration has been tapped to be one of the anchor programs for a new and important initiative at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. The Sloan Program previously occupied two different academic spaces at Cornell including the Business School for 30 years, and the College of Human Ecology, Department of Policy Analysis and Management for 36 years.

Due in large part to its record of training health care leaders, the Sloan Program is now an anchor for the new Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy. The program will continue to have a management-based curriculum but will now offer MHA students the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of how to shape health policy, and how policy affects health businesses. Sloan will reside side-by-side with the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs (CIPA), which offers an MPA degree.
