AUPHA recently published the Practitioner Scholar Guide, a tool that provides practical information for practitioners looking to provide support – or fully transition into – academia. Useful for both practitioners looking to support students and program directors leveraging practitioner resources, this guide was written by members of the Practitioner Scholar Faculty Forum, as part of a set of resources designed to encourage practitioner participation in academia. The guide, as well as a slide deck that can be used to recruit practitioners into roles in academia, can be found in the libraries of the Practitioner Scholar Faculty Forum, the Graduate Program Directors community, and Undergraduate Program Directors community. Members will need to be logged in to the AUPHA Network to view these resources.
