AUPHA is excited to announce it is once again taking part in Health Professions Week (HPW) from November 5-9. With 20 health profession education associations, HPW is a week-long event focused on engaging high school, community college, and undeclared college students to help them learn about the diverse range of careers within health care.

HPW is a free event and offers innovative ways for individuals to explore multiple health professions. Attendees will be able to learn about the various fields and interact directly with practitioners and educators about requirements and career pathways. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore 20 diverse and rewarding health professions during a virtual fair and an online treasure hunt
  • Hear first-hand from a variety of health professionals about how they make a difference in their communities through their chosen profession
  • Chat with practitioners, professionals, admissions representatives, and current health profession students
  • Network with students from varying health professional programs and students interested in the same fields as you

If you or anyone you know are interested in attending HPW, all you have to do is register online. In addition, if you are interested in volunteering to represent Healthcare Administration during the Wednesday or Thursday virtual fairs, please reach out to Jason Walker at jwalker@aupha.org.
