Michael is a transformational leader with extensive experience in acute care hospital operations and leadership. Six Sigma, LEAN, simulation, process improvement, human resources, and innovation.
He leads a consulting venture focused on improving operations and providing services to other organizations, including hospitals. He has experience in the operations of a healthcare staffing firm that connects experienced nurses and allied health professionals with work opportunities in top-tier healthcare facilities throughout the U.S.
Michael began a healthcare career as an Emergency Medical Technician - Special Skills, earning a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration and a Doctorate of Education specializing in Transformational Leadership, Inquiry, and Development. He has been privileged to lead hospitals in general acute and long-term critical care, non-profit, for-profit, religious sponsored, government entity, and distressed organizations focusing on staff development and transforming delivery systems.
Michael is a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
