Laura Erskine is Professor of Health Policy and Management and MHA Program Director at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Her teaching interests are in the area of organizational behavior, leadership, and decision-making and her research interests include the meaning of relational distance in leader-follower relationships, leadership in virtual settings, and emergent leadership in the context of collective action. Laura is able to highlight theories and concepts with personal examples from her background in strategic consulting, entrepreneurial activities, and case writing activities. When she isn’t working, Laura travels, makes jewelry, and enjoys entertaining.
