Change is a powerful force, and learning about the changes in healthcare are extremely important. As the Department Chair and Assistant Professor for the Health Care Management Program at Northwood University, I spend a great deal of time shaping the future leaders of a global free-enterprise society of health care management.
I am in the final stages of earning a Graduate Certificate in International Health (one course left) and enjoyed learning at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland; studying the Swedish Healthcare System in Stockholm, Sweden; touring the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland; and touring the CDC in Atlanta, Georgia; as well as numerous other healthcare educational opportunities.
All coursework and comprehensive exam have been completed for a doctorate in healthcare administration and I have entered into candidacy for my DHA with the final dissertation stage begun.
Learning happens for everyone, every day, that is the nature of healthcare. I encourage you to learn something new today that you can share with others.
