I have been on the administrative staff of Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation for 36 years and currently serve as Vice President of Planning, Memphis Metropolitan Market. I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Memphis (Business Administration) as well as Oklahoma Baptist University (Healthcare Administration) and a Master of Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine. I recently received my doctoral degree from the University of Alabama – Birmingham. I am a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Additionally I am a former Fellow and a current Commissioner with the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education and have served as an adjunct instructor for the Master of Health Administration Program at the University of Memphis since 2009. Recently I was recognized as a Public Health Champion by the University of Memphis School of Public Health and was the recipient of the Joy Clay Outstanding Service Award from the University of Memphis Master of Health Administration Program. I certainly appreciate being part of the AUPHA network.
