Bio

Banky Olatosi is the Program Director for the MHA program in the Department of Health Services Policy and Management, at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina. He is passionate and committed to the improvement of graduate healthcare education. He is published and his research interests are in the fields of Health Analytics, HIV/AIDS, rural health and obesity. He has expertise in the field of Data Analytics and Data Mining with a focus on Health Analytics. Banky recently completed serving as a fellow for the Commission on Accreditation of Health Management Education (CAHME). Previously, he managed a USAID/Johns Hopkins University funded HIV/AIDS hotlines project in Nigeria as program manager. He is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and serves on the board of the South Carolina ACHE state chapter. Banky Olatosi earned his doctorate in Health Services Policy and Management from the University of South Carolina, earned his MPH in Public Health Administration and Policy from the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities) and holds an MS in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos. He is happily married with two children. His extracurricular interests are reading and traveling.
