I believe passionately in developing people to understand and fulfill their potential and in improving the effectiveness of organizations and systems through innovation and adoption of a continuous transformation mindset and culture. My leadership coaching and teaching embraces the concept of emotional intelligence and integrates it with behavioral and organizational intelligence. My current focus is serving as Professor of Practice with the Rochester Institute of Technology in my home town as an integral part of the core faculty, building off my previous adjunct role as executive in residence with the University of Michigan. It is a steep learning curve with the business and process of graduate and professional school education. I'm actively seeking to grow my knowledge through AUPHA and CAHME, and currently chair the AUPHA Practitioner Scholar Faculty Forum which seeks to build a body of knowledge and community of practitioners engaged with the academy.
